It's Monday! What are you reading? (19)

Hosted by Book Journey

It's time for my biweekly update....

The last two weeks I've read....

I'm currently reading....

Next, I plan to read....

What about you? What are you reading?

In My Mailbox (20)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren where I get to show what new books I've gotten this week. They can be books I've bought, checked out from the library, or actually received in the mail.

Bought

(Soul Screamers #1)
by Rachel Vincent

Won

(both these are from Ren @ All by MySHELF from her Dangerous 20th Birthday Giveaway)

(Heist Society #1)
by Ally Carter

by Daniel Kraus

(this is a canvas of Wildefire which I won during the Wildefire Olympics hosted by the author himself, Karsten Knight)

Now there's actually something on my wall. I did have a couple of problems getting Wildefire to stay on the wall though. I think the canvas came with a poltergeist. Wildefire fell down twice before it finally decided to just stay up there. (Cuz I mean, I couldn't have just been putting it up there wrong.... I don't do anything wrong....)

Dirty Little Secret (1)

Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by the lovelies at Under the Covers. Every Thursday we get to know other bloggers and our readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets.  (Hot, hot, HOT questions. *fans self*) We hope that you will all join us!

To participate in the meme all you need to do is:

1. Be a follower of Under the Covers.
2. Create a post in your blog taking the meme image (code above) and copy instructions.
3. Answer the question we propose! This can be done in any way you like, post a video, write a post etc.
4. Then add your link below.

Non-bloggers: We want to hear from you as well!!!  Let us know your answer in the comments!

We hope you join us and let us know your Dirty Little Secrets!

This weeks question:

Complete the following sentences with fictional character names:

I would have a one night stand with...
I would marry....
I would like to be sandwiched between....
I would turn bi for...

My answer:
  • I would have a one night stand with...... Drake (Aisling Grey: Guardian series).
  • I would marry...... Dimitri (Vampire Academy series).
  • I would like to be sandwiched between...... Darius (Atlantis series) and Maddox (Lords of the Underworld series).
  • I would turn bi for...... Merit (Chicagoland Vampires series).

I laughed at myself when I did these. The first answer that popped into my head was who I would turn bi for. I guess maybe picking one girl is easier than sifting through all the hottie guys. I wish there were a lot more questions, cuz there were a bunch of guys I didn't get to use. I'd actually like to marry quite a few of them.... We could all take turns!  :-D

Labor Day Weekend Read-a-thon Final Update

Well, I didn't get much further than where I was after my first update. I always seem to have to work or do stuff when I participate in a read-a-thon. At least I finished a whole book this time.

Final read-a-thon stats....

Books Read:
Aphrodite the Beauty (Goddess Girls #3) by Joan Holub & Suzanne Williams
Bloodlines (Bloodlines #1) by Richelle Mead (started)

Pages Read: 218

So, I read one book and part of another one. I'm happy I at least got through one. Probably would've gotten through more of Bloodlines, but work and homework are a little more important. (Boo!)

Thanks for hosting the read-a-thon, Katie! It was fun! :-D

Labor Day Weekend Read-a-thon: TBR

I am excited to be participating in yet another read-a-thon. :-D

This read-a-thon is hosted by Katie @ Katie's Book Blog

And here's my list....

I'm excited to read all of these. I don't know how far I'll get though. I need to do some homework over the weekend. Plus, I have to work Monday night. My plan is to try to make it through the first two on my list.

Yay! This is gonna be fun! Good luck everyone!
